The war did not only affect American born Vietnam Veterans, but the Hmong and Vietnamese Veterans and their families, now also American.

Thank you to Koua Xiong for coming all the way from Illinois to share his personal story and the experience of the Hmong Pilots. Thank you to all the Purple Heart Recipients who were able to attend. Not all participants were able to attend nor was it possible for us to get every recipient's name. We relied on the Chippewa Falls Purple Heart Association to supply us with the various names. Thank you to Congressman Ron Kind, Eau Claire City Council President Keri Kincaid, and Chippewa Falls Mayor Greg Hoffman for being a part of us.
